Slave Communication Module with fast SPI connection to the host
The Communication Module comX 10 has been especially designed for devices, which need Fieldbus Slave connectivity. It impresses with a fast SPI connection to the host processor and rotary switches for address allocation. comX 10 reduces the integration effort as well as the part cost of the device manufacturer, since only a simple serial connection to the host needs to be realized. In addition the address switches allows an easy and reliable commissioning in the field. I/O data can alternately be transferred via a 50MHz SPI interface or an 8/16-bit parallel bus to the host processor. Due to compatible mechanics, consistent interfaces and same FDT/DTM configuration-tool the whole variety of network systems and Communication Modules can be used.
