7月 2010:		SIMATIC S7 compatible Slot PLC card now with free of charge S7 programming software

3月 2010:		Doubled number of supported protocol conversions
		We have now doubled the number of supported protocols on the netTAP 100 gateway product line. With the addition of CC-Link and ETHERNET POWERLINK, the list of protocol combinations has increased to 132. Prior to the newly added networks, the netTAP 100 featured PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/RTU, CANopen, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, SERCOS III and ASCII. The number of Master to Slave combinations among the various automation technologies makes the netTAP 100 the most flexible industrial gateway on the market. 3月 2010:		SIMATIC S7 compatible Slot PLC card with PROFIBUS interface from Hilscher
		Hilscher has now released the SIMATICS7 compatible Slot PLC card NPLC-C100-DP/S7 with PROFIBUS-DP interface. The card runs PC platform independent with its own processor. An external 24 Volts can be added to guarantee continuous operation during power outages of the PC. A battery is used to buffer volatile key registers in the event of power loss while a memory card slot enables quick data transfer of existing configurations into a spare unit in seconds. For configuration the standard STEPS7 software from Siemens is used. The card is a proven alternative to S7-314/315 CPUs featuring PROFIBUS-DP. It transforms a PC into a full-size automation platform for safe control of the decentralized PROFIBUS peripherals with all the comfort of classic “Hard-PLCs” mounted on a rack.
